Our
holiday farm „La Vicomterie" near Ver, a small village of 300
inhabitants in the “Peninsula
Cotentin” in Normandy offer 4 holiday apartments with a lot of
charme - 50 km north of the famous „Mont-Saint-Michel"and about 12 km
from the sea.
Our
holiday-farm
“La Vicomterie” was
built about two-hundred years ago in the typical style of Cotentin a
„longère“
- almost 30 metres long but only 8 metres wide and along the sea - a
house built of natural stones with a slate roof.
Our piece of ground (10.000 square metres) bordered by a little stream has got a pond and much place for children to play. There is also a trampoline in the garden (4,5 m diameter with safety-net). On the car park, you find a lockable port for bikes, also suitable for motorbikes.
"La Vicomterie" is on a small hill in the heart of nature, about 1 km off the center of Ver, but not far to the village of Gavray with all possibilities of shopping.
To introduce ourselfs, we can say that we are a german couple previously a geriatric nurse and a social educationist. We have been living since 2002 on the holiday-farm in Ver with our animals (two dunkeys, ducks and cats). We are happy to welcome you with an evening campfire and to answer your questions.
